my dearest piggy,

I know im not veh smart and all... but u did leave a scar in my heart by saying that. I'm sensitive ya know? When i read that word on skype just now, pain shot through my heart. I guess I'll just need some time to heal yeah =) <3 ya!

something to think about...

'the prayer of a righteous man is effective.' read somewhere in the book before 1peter. the last part. somehow, this verse just sort of sticks in me? Is there something that God wants to tell me? I rmb last time Elder koh said that he will get the lightbulb effect whenever he read the bible.. like when he read a certain part of the bible, there will be a lightbulb. This is his way of knowing God is telling him sth. But im still new to all this man. And it's harder for me to learn much here cos well, i still dont know a lot of good church frens whom i can talk to not like in jb, where there is plankie, rachie, jo-hann (noobie :P), kimmy, joyeybanana n rayyy :) my very good bros and sisters =) love them soo much! they are so awesome! <3<3<3

Economics. Dislike it! Totally don't know how to do the dumb assignment. It's so infuriating coz i started it a few days ago and it's only 500 words. My goodness! How hard can it be?!! But dang it! its already sunday morning and im still stuck. God help me here please!Or someone! 

Today's weather was quite nice actually! Nice enough to wear shorts and not feel cold :) Only wish msia would have this weather pffft. 

My iphone 3G sucks. So many games keep on lagging. How to play smurfs village?! sheesh! Time to get a new iphone 5 :D sigh, it's going to be expensive i know :( oh wells, i could get a job during winter i guess. Dad already hinted about me working here. haih. I soo want to go Melbourne during June! :(

Josh is so hyped up about elections. =.= too bad he can't vote haha.. 


exam timetable is out! :( 6,10,13 are my exam dates. Well, at least i end quite early :) Kinda scary taking exams in uni. Hope everything goes smoothly.. hmm i can worry about that later. 


okay. back to my dumb econs assignment.

University fellowship of christians

There was a talk on everything about dating by UFC and i went coz it sounded interesting. It's a christian approach to dating. It really was! no kidding! It was taken from Philippians 2(imitating Christ's humility). It shows how Christ is like. Today was only part 1 and it was about who/whom i should date and how should you ask someone out.

A christian doesn't just look for the pretty face or the buff body or the right height or hair etc. So, who/whom should i date?

• MUST be a christian

• must not be married (duh)
• not someone who is a blood relative
• not someone who is dead (haha)
• not someone of the same sex
• someone who has godliness

Other than that, marry whoever the heck you want! haha. The issue is not who is mr right or ms right but the kind of person you marry! more importantly, the kind of person you are. Maybe i should work in becoming ms or mr right first! 

God's priority for us is to BECOME LIKE CHRIST. This is my calling, the most important thing in life, far more important that anything. Not who i should marry and whatever...

Why must marry a christian? Why would i want to get into an intimate life journey with someone who does not share my first importance to me (which is Christ). 1 Corinthians 7:39- A woman is bound to her husband as long as she lives, but if her husband dies, she can marry anyone she wishes but he must belong to the Lord. 

If you really want the person u are dating to become a christian, u should break up with him to let him know that Christianity is not just a lil thing in your life, that God is most important. Then he may listen to sermons more openly than before.


What colour is the equator? Obviously you can't answer. The point is when we ask the wrong qn, we won't get an answer! Maybe the reason we are not getting the answer from God is we are asking the wrong qn. We could ask God "what actually should i ask to begin with? " 


hmm 1 Peter 3:3-4 says that your beauty should not come from outward appearance, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. Godliness is true beauty. Physical beauty fades... but Godliness shines and lasts and grows more bright. True beauty is not just knick knacks dangling off your face but it's the Godly spirit. It's pathetic to see christian guys to flock over to bikini girls and long legs but ignore the beautiful girl standing there, growing in Godliness. Look past the external (the hair, perfume..). It's shameful as well for girls to notice strong guys who can lift a canoe with one hand or like his jokes and ignore the guy who is skinnier and can't lift a canoe with one hand and u overlook him who grows in the knowledge of God. The bible doesn't ignore the physical beauty. It is just unimportant.
  

How do i ask someone out?! XD 

Fix yourself first. seek to live God's way. Save money.. It is crazy to want adult sex, adult relationship when you haven't even set out your own life first, when u don't know how to do laundry. Be responsible!

Girls like cool/ nice cars. Guys: she doesn't care about the car. For girls, it's a sign that if the guy can get the car, it means she can go to places and get things that are worth a lot. could be a bad sign for guys. haha.

Dress nicely. This has a place in life, a lower place. How should i present myself. Get fit and healthy. At least if you don't get the girl, you still feel good coz u are healthy :) Guys: watch your breathe, shave, shower! Girls: be brave and confident to share thoughts. Don't have to be loud and glamorous. Don't be someone you are not. Be comfortable enough to be a woman. Guys notice it and appreciate it. U are the daughter of God. He made u the way u are!

Go out and meet someone! socialize! Must d.t.r (define the relationship). This involve words whether face to face or msg unless you are mute. lol. Be clear! Don't say maybe or perhaps.. On dates, guys PAY. =D

wow. my longest blog everr!!! Actually there is still a lot more... hmm still awake at 1.30 am and not sleepy. Amazing. Hobart is getting colder these few days with temperature reaching 6degrees >.< soo cold! I have to start wearing 3 layers already or i will freeze and get frost bite :(
